Dr. Cole graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School and did her residency in Family Medicine in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She practiced in Minneapolis and served as faculty at the University of Minnesota Medical School for 25 years. Dr. Cole is board certified in Family Practice and certified by the American Board of Holistic Medicine (ABHM). She completed fellowship training at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Her academic interests include cross cultural medicine and integration of holistic medicine into Family Practice Residency education. She directed a large family practice residency program in Minneapolis for 15 years and was active nationally in the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and on the board of the American Board of Holistic Medicine and Therapeutic Touch International Association.

Sara L. S. Bonds offers bodywork to fit the unique needs of each individual. With two bachelor’s degrees (Oberlin College, the Evergreen State College), Sara has extensive movement and bodywork training and experience.

Sara is licensed in massage (WA and MT) and certified by the Milne Institute in Visionary Craniosacral Work®. She is a Reiki Master Teacher, and was certified as a practitioner of Trager. Sara received her Lymphatic Drainage Technique training through the Upledger Institute. She is a registered Buteyko Breathing Educator (breathing retraining) and currently completing her training in Cranial Osteopathy from the Canadian School of Osteopathy.

Emily earned her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado, and completed her her clinical training at Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine (HUCM) in Harbin, China. Emily is nationally certified by the NCCAOM as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine.

In China, Emily witnessed how acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) function as a primary care modality in acute and chronic health conditions, along with supporting and improving outcomes of other primary care modalities and interventions. TCM is utilized in the treatment stroke, facial paralysis, pain, women’s health and fertility issues, digestive disorders, pediatrics, physical rehabilitation, insomnia, mental disorders, and many other health conditions.

Prior to Montana, Emily practiced in the Denver metro area, including Olde Town Acupuncture and Wellness Center and Meeting Point Community Acupuncture. Community-style acupuncture is affordable, where 2 – 6 patients are treated in one room. Working in a community setting allowed Emily to work with thousands of patients and become proficient in the treatment of many disorders. She uses the Balance Method as taught by Dr. Richard Tan. This style of acupuncture is not only effective in treating pain but also complex and multifaceted disorders, and it allows the patient to experience immediate results. Emily is proud to offer effective and skilled TCM options for the community and provide an important branch of the Bridge Medical Center integrative healing tree, where healing happens.

Emily is the mother of one beautiful child (so far). When she is not working, she loves mountain biking, skiing, camping, and being outdoors with her husband and her little hound, Ramona. When she’s not outdoors, she loves to cook, garden, knit, and hang around with loved ones.
